Les Referts is a 5.5 ha premier cru vineyard located at the northern border of the Puligny-Montrachet appellation next to Les Charmes-Dessous
in Meursault. Lying on the lower slope of this hillside below Les Combettes, it has a south-easterly aspect which allows the grapes to reach full
maturity. The marly calcareous soil is deeper and richer here, containing high levels of clay enriched with iron producing a more muscular wine
similar in style to Meursault.
